It’s safe to say that for most of us, becoming a millionaire would be near the top of our bucket list.
Accomplishing this goal would be a dream come true. Accomplishing this before you could drive, vote or even watch scary movies legally would be a whole different ballpark.
At just 12 years old, Darci Lynne Farmer is able to cross “Become a Millionaire” off her bucket list.
NBC’s reality competition show, “America’s Got Talent,” has recently crowned their 12th season champion, Darci Lynn Farmer, a 12 year old self taught ventriloquist and singer from Oklahoma City.
Darci beat out many competitors, but it came down to her and 10 year old singer Angelica Hale in the final round.
Darci was destined to take the crown from the beginning. During her audition she received a standing ovation and the golden buzzer from judge Mel B, sending her straight to the live shows.
“Tonight, again, I’ve just witnessed a star emerge, because that’s what you are,” judge and producer Simon Cowell said during her audition. “You’re special, incredible, funny, talented and I think you’re going to win.”
Darci was awarded with $1 million dollars and a contract for her very own show at Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas. Darci explained to Fox News how she plans to spend her fortune.
“I have to get my mom a dishwasher because it doesn’t work and we need a new one,” she said. “I would love to get a pug, a puppy, a baby pug, I just want one so bad. I’m ready, I’m ready to take on the puppy life.”
Darci is the 2nd ventriloquist to win the show and she hopes to inspire more.
Her show schedule is yet to be announced, but for updates you can follow her on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter @itsdarcilynee.
