SUU News is a collaboration of the three student-run media entities at Southern Utah University: the University Journal campus newspaper, KSUU-Thunder 91.1 radio, and SUTV-9 cable television.

The University Journal is a monthly magazine publication and immediate web source for students and by students. Their mission is to give SUU students and faculty the most up-to-date information around campus and Cedar City, and to provide a forum of discussion for all of the happenings around SUU students’ lives.

Thunder 91.1 is the student-run FM radio station at Southern Utah University, broadcasting on the frequency 91.1 KSUU-FM.

SUTV is a cable TV channel operated by Southern Utah University’s Department of Communication on Charter Cable Channel 9 – available in Cedar City. It is affiliated with UCTV, CNN and the Classic Arts Showcase. Most of the local programs are produced by students enrolled in Communication classes at SUU.
