Brian Head Ski Resort has recently ended daily operations, but they will be reopening for one final weekend on Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3. Brian Head will conclude their 2025-2026 season after 159 days of operations, one of the longest ski seasons in Utah this year.
The resort’s closing weekend will feature a variety of activities and events, including raffle giveaways. Each lift ticket scan will earn a raffle entry for free lift tickets, a one-night stay at Brian Head Lodge and a weekday season pass.
Other events include a costume contest and live music. Guests are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the season celebration.
“The more creative and colorful, the better, as the resort sends off the season in style,” said James Graven, a spokesperson for Brian Head Resort.
Guests can expect warm weather and good snow conditions for the closing weekend. The resort received three inches of snowfall over the last week, and temperatures are forecasted to reach around 54 degrees Fahrenheit.
“We’re excited to have the Giant Steps Express lift running for you this weekend,” states the Brian Head website. “For our beginners, the Race Hill Conveyor will be open, offering access to beginner terrain.”
All of Brian Head’s new eateries and shopping centers will also be open during the closing weekend, including 1st Chair Tai and Ramen, Mountain Peak Cafe and Bakery and Brianhead Sports. These new locations can all be found at the Brian Head Mall, located near the Giant Steps Lodge.
