Brian Head Resort is officially opening for the 2025-2026 winter sports season this Friday, Nov. 21. The resort will be holding multiple events on Friday to celebrate their 60th season.
There will be a first chair celebration at the Navajo Express Lift on Friday at 10 a.m. The resort will serve donuts, hot chocolate and host a variety of giveaways to kick off the first day.
Rentals and ticket purchases will be available at this time as well, and both lodges will have their restaurants and gift shops open for attendees.
Despite opening day being rescheduled two weeks in a row, the season is looking up, as the resort has received over six inches of snow in the last week. Cold temperatures have also allowed crews to make and keep even more snow in preparation for opening day.
“Upgraded snowmaking on Navajo Mountain this season will allow more beginner and intermediate terrain to open earlier and stay open longer,” said James Graven, Brian Head official.
Lift tickets are available in person or online at the Brian Head website. Tickets start as low as $55, and everyone is encouraged to grab their ski gear and celebrate the season this Friday at Brian Head Resort.
