It turns out Vine was right: The Jonas Brothers can’t break up— they’re brothers. For the first time since breaking up in October 2013, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas are reuniting as musicians once again.
The Jonas Brothers band became a household name after their appearances on the Disney channel in the early 2000s. They appeared in various music videos, television shows such as “Hannah Montana,” and their own Disney Channel show “Jonas,” as well as starring alongside Demi Lovato in the Disney Channel movies “Camp Rock” and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”
Rumors had been circulating around whether a Jonas Brothers reunion was going to happen since last year when the band’s social media accounts reactivated and it turns out they were true. The band released their new single “Sucker” on March 1.
So, why get the band back together now?
In an interview with Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM when asked it was decided that now was the best time for the brothers to reunite Nick Jonas said, “We started spending a lot of time together and we all kind of felt that there was a magic and there is a magic when we’re together that we missed.”
Fans of the Jonas Brothers can look forward to seeing the band perform their new song during their week-long takeover of the television program The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The JoBro takeover will air March 4- 7.
