Students got the chance to think of someone who has made a positive influence in their life and write a small thank you. The Student Programming Board (SPB) gave students an opportunity to write “Thank You” notes with their Cookies and Cards event on Tuesday, Nov 13.
Tables were set up in the middle of the rotunda with various members of the SPB handing out Hallmark “Thank You” cards and cookies.
Last week students also participated in TAG Day. TAG Day gave students the opportunity to thank university donors in a personal way.
On Friday, SPB will also feature Friendsgiving where students can enjoy a meal with other students. That will take place in the ballroom at 7 p.m. and will go until food runs out.
“With Thanksgiving not far, we wanted to create a sense of thankfulness here on campus,” Payton Raddon, SPB Director, said.“TAG Day, Cookies and Cards and even the upcoming Friendsgiving will get students into the holiday spirit of gratitude.”
Although the event is over, that doesn’t mean you can’t reach out to someone in gratitude.
You can stay up to date on all SPB events through their instagram.
