Two days are in the books for the Thunderbirds at the Gene Miranda Invitational, with one day of golf remaining on Sunday.
Freshman Austin Jaramillo posted the lowest score for the Thunderbirds on Saturday, finishing one-under with a 71. This brought his two-day total to 151. This is the lowest round he’s posted in his career as a Thunderbird.
Senior Fidel Concepcion finished Saturday with a 74, which brought his two-day total to 145. Concepcion is currently in a tie for 32nd.
Two Thunderbirds posted a 75 on day two, with both Jake Vincent and Christian Karren hitting that mark.
Bradley Collet had an improved round on Saturday, finishing with a 76.
As a team the Thunderbirds shot a 295, bringing their total score to 599.
Wyoming currently sits at the top spot of the tournament, closely followed by Colorado State.
The third and final round will be played on Sunday.
