On Sunday, April 5, at 9:15 a.m., Brian Head Resort will be hosting its annual Easter egg hunt. The hunt is free for kids 12 and under, and participants are encouraged to bring their favorite Easter basket, or a ski helmet.
To participate, meet behind the Navajo Lodge and join the boot pack line at 9 a.m. The Brian Head team will be there to line everyone up for the hunt. The eggs will be hidden right on the snow in the kids camp conveyor area.
“We put out hundreds of eggs filled with candy,” stated Amber Palmer, marketing manager at Brian Head Resort. “It’s always a mad dash for the eggs, which is fun to watch.”
There will be a staggered start to ensure everyone gets a fair chance to find the brightly colored eggs. Children aged 6 and under will start at 9:15, then at 9:20, the older group of kids will be released to join the hunt. Spectators and participants are encouraged to arrive early, as the first age group will be released at 9:15 sharp.
Palmer also encourages families to come hunt for eggs and ski. It is a great opportunity to celebrate the Easter holiday and don’t forget to get some spring rounds on the mountain.
“This marks the third year we’ve hosted the Easter egg hunt, and each year, participation has increased,” she said. “It’s just a really fun way for families to get outside together, enjoy spring on the mountain, and make a few turns.”
Stick around after the hunt to take pictures with the Easter Bunny to commemorate the occasion. Hop on over to Brian Head resort for a free Easter egg hunt, the perfect opportunity for young families to celebrate Easter.
