James Warner’s metal art & jewelry

The Festival City Farmers Market has been a staple in the community for many years. It continues to provide opportunities for small business owners to showcase their creativity and passion.

James Warner is a regular at the market. His booth provides jewelry pieces and artistic metal sculptures that he makes from raw material found in the mountains all over the country.

“I’ve been to all 50 states,” said Warner. “For instance, I have a special type of stone that you can only find in Lake Michigan that I’ve put into a few pieces from one of my collections. I love to travel and create, so they complement each other.”

Not only does he create, Warner teaches others how to create their own pieces at his studio. He believes that it’s important to allow others to experience the beauty and the process of making their own art.

As far as what the future holds for his craft, Warner hopes to elevate his abilities and create more intricate forms of his art using 3D printers.

“It’s really fascinating to see what we’re capable of doing these days,” Warner added. “Everything I make is by hand, which is great, but it can also take days to make one creation. If I could use the technology we have now, it could take much less time and be even more detailed.”
