Cedar City experienced major rainstorms over this last weekend. Luckily, next week’s weather is looking up for Cedar City residents and Southern Utah University students.
While September typically begins to approach cooler temperatures, Cedar City is expected to experience sunny weather, with temperatures near 80 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday through Wednesday.
Partly cloudy conditions are forecasted towards the end of the week, with temperatures remaining near the high 70s and low 80s.
However, this warm weather will only last for so long in Cedar City. Within the next few weeks, temperatures will begin to decrease, and more rainfall is likely to occur.
This time of year is a great time to get in some last minute, warm weather activities. SUU campus has multiple spots for a cozy picnic, so grab a blanket and some snacks for a time to relax under the sun.
There are also multiple hiking trails in the area, and this is the perfect time of year to visit them and experience southern Utah’s scenery. For a list of local hiking locations, visit Google Maps.
