The Southern Utah University Student Association is hosting the annual Most Fun Friday this week on April 11. Activities will begin early in the morning and go til late at night. Multiple areas of campus will be filled with games, activities, refreshments and more.
Starting at 8 a.m., a hot air balloon will take off in parking lot 11, followed by an entire day of entertainment and things to do.
From 12 – 2 p.m, a t-shirt making activity, “Tees and Treats,” will take place on the lawn of Bristlecone Hall. During and after this, a softball double-header will be held at the softball fields at 1 and 3 p.m. After which, there will be Disco Roller Skating in the multipurpose gym from 3 – 5 p.m.
After a full day of fun, a relaxing study and snack time will be designated in the Tutoring Center from 6 – 8 p.m. At 9 p.m a silent disco dance will be in the Student Center Ballroom to end the night.
This event is a kickoff into the end of the semester and it is a great way to relieve some stress before finals. By hosting these events, the Student Association and the Student Involvement and Leadership program hope for students to be involved in their SUU community as it rolls near summertime.
The STIL Office says, “Student Involvement & Leadership exists to help all students get involved, make connections, and develop the leadership skills necessary to succeed beyond the classroom and after college.”
