Forbes and Statista Inc. announced Southern Utah University on their list for Best-In-State Employers 2024. SUU was chosen from 4.4 million employer evaluations considered for this honor.
The list acknowledges the organizations that create a satisfactory work environment for employee needs. Through Forbes’ partnership with Statista, they conduct research and survey employees to establish the top companies by state.
Over 160,000 people are surveyed to create the list. They evaluate employment based on two factors, a personal evaluation recommending their employer and information regarding their previous employment within the same industry.
This data allows a differentiation between organizations that consistently perform well and those that don’t. This year, SUU was recognized on the list under the education industry.
“SUU administration has been diligent about shaping a campus environment that allows our employees to not just succeed at work, but to enjoy the work they do in an environment that values their contribution and supports work-life balance,” said President Mindy Benson.
SUU’s administration prides themself on creating an environment where faculty can not only enjoy it, but feel valued in their endeavor. The full list of Best-In-State Employers 2024 can be found on the Forbes website.
