Kanab’s 10th annual Balloons and Tunes Roundup will be held on Feb. 16, 17 and 18. Each day, the hot air balloon festival will begin with a launch at 7:30 a.m. at the Coral Cliffs Golf Course as long as the weather permits.
“Life is a Beautiful Ride, especially from this vantage point,” reads a post on the festival’s Facebook page. “Balloons and Tunes is here again! And whether you’re experiencing it for the first time, or the 10th, it’s the kind of magic you don’t want to miss. See over 30 balloons launch overhead, dance to live music and explore the charming small-town vibe.”
Friday’s events will finish off with a lantern festival launch behind Center Street at 20 N. 100 E. Saturday evening includes a balloon glow, where people can witness the inflated hot air balloons illuminated. Sunday morning’s balloon launch will mark the end of the festivities.
Activities are scheduled throughout the weekend for everyone to enjoy. The festival will feature live music from a variety of bands and over 40 vendors for attendees to visit on Friday and Saturday.
