On Dec. 13th, The Oak Ridge Boys performed at the SUU America First Event Center during their Shine the Light on Christmas tour.
The Oak Ridge Boys are known for their four part harmony and upbeat songs and have had dozens of country hits and Number One Pop smash.
This was the first time The Oak Ridge Boys have played in Cedar City since their 2013 sold out concert. Members of the community and students alike had the opportunity to attend the concert.
Madi Roberts, a senior communications major for Arizona was one of the many audience members.
“The Oak Ridge Boys did a great job keeping it festive and fun for all the ages,” Roberts said.
The concert included some of The Oak Ridge Boys hit sensations as well as some holiday classics. At the close of the concert, there was a guest appearance by Santa Claus and children were allowed to come up by the stage and receive their very own Santa Claus hat.
