Thunderbird Men’s Tennis Team Dominates Match Against Lewis and Clark for First Season Win

Southern Utah men’s tennis team won their first match of the season against Lewis-Clark State College in Pocatello, Idaho. The T-Birds were dominant across the board, with every player winning their match.

Head coach Sadhaf Pucher stated about the win, “This is the fifth win in program history and we need to build off of today for tomorrow. Really proud of how all the guys just put the briefcase down today and went to work. Tomorrow will have to be a team effort.”

Southern Utah won the No. 1 singles and doubles matches, which set the tone for the rest of the matches. Conor Tordoff and Jonathan Morales made the sweep in the No. 1 doubles match, with Pablo Guerra sweeping the No. 1 position in singles.

With this important win, the Thunderbirds are hoping to keep the ball rolling in their match against Idaho State University tomorrow.
