What’s coming and going on Netflix this January.
As 2018 rings in another year of failed New Year’s gym resolutions, it’s time to binge Netflix!
Netflix brings a mix of classics, originals and surprisingly, some horror films to January. That being said, some old-time favorites like Grease and Free Willy are gone for good.
Other movies leaving the collection include The Addams Family, Chicago, Daddy Day Care, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Forrest Gump, Gremlins, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Seasons 14-17), Mean Girls, The Mighty Ducks, Pokémon: Indigo League (Season 1), Requiem for a Dream, Saw I-VI and a list of others.
Though I am sad to see movies like The Addams Family and Mean Girls go, excitement sets in as I wait to see what Netflix has to offer in January. We start the year off right with adventures like Apollo 13, Bring it On, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and The Shawshank Redemption.
Starting Jan. 10, blockbuster bombs like 47 Meters Down and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie will make an appearance until Jan. 31 when Cars 3 zooms in to save the day!
Other films coming to Netflix include:
- Batman Returns
- Breakfast & Tiffany’s
- Caddyshack
- Furry Vengeance
- The Godfather
- Justin Bieber: Never Say Never
- King Kong (2005)
- Love Actually
- The Lovely Bones
- Midnight in Paris
- Sharknado 5: Global Swarming
- Stardust
- The Truman Show
- Wedding Crashers
- Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
