Nature Hills Farm hosts their annual Harvest Fest for fall family fun

Nature Hills Farm in Iron County, Utah, hosted their annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The festival featured a variety of activities and fall fun for the entire family, including a hayride to transport attendees from the parking lot to the farm, pumpkin painting, corn hole and a sunflower maze.

Attendees were also able to pick up fresh produce from the farm’s large collection of greenhouses and crops. Pumpkins, tomatoes, corn and cucumbers were freshly grown and available.

For those not looking for produce, Nature Hills had different fall goodies to offer, with options to sample or to purchase from the Farm Store to enjoy later. Some of the options included homemade apple cider, pumpkin bread, lemonade, s’mores, sourdough bread and more.

While the farm still had a wide selection of produce, Nature Hills had a difficult growing season due to the recent climate and weather. Their pumpkin patch had only a small number of pumpkins left available by the end of the Harvest Fest. However, attendees still enjoyed the other aspects of the farm.

“It’s such a cute, family-friendly farm,” said Stephanie Bustamante. “A very laid-back environment that the whole family can enjoy.”

Nature Hills Farm is open for the entire month of October from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. People can visit anytime to make purchases at the farm store or take a self-guided tour to see the outdoor scenery and livestock. Nature Hills can also be found at the Festival City Farmers Market every Saturday morning.
