American Idol winner and country artist Scotty McCreery will be performing at the Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheater on Thursday, April 9, at 8 p.m. As of April 6, all seats except for one have sold out.
McCreery has gained a large fanbase since his debut in 2011. He became American Idol’s 10th season winner when he was only 17 years old. He has since released multiple studio albums and singles, including “Five More Minutes,” “See You Tonight” and “Damn Strait.”
After almost eight years, McCreery is returning to Southern Utah to perform in Ivins’ unique, red rock theater. The musician was last seen at the Greater Zion Stadium in St. George in 2018 and at the Southern Utah University Centrum in Cedar City in 2016.
McCreery’s popularity is bringing him to a nearly sold out venue at Tuacahn this week. However, it is common for people to sell tickets outside of the venue on the night of the concert. Those who are hoping to attend can arrive early and look for available tickets.
Tuacahn has a variety of upcoming shows for the 2026 season. Their annual summer Broadway plays will debut this May, with favorites including “Finding Nemo,” “Grease” and “Les Miserables.”
For more information on upcoming shows, or to purchase tickets, visit the official Tuacahn website.
