Thunderbirds Weather Forecast: Feb. 9 – Feb. 15

Hello T-Birds! It’s officially February, despite the unnaturally warm weather we have been experiencing. Those of you wishing for more moisture can look forward to next week’s weather forecast.

Monday, Feb. 9 will consist of partly cloudy weather, with a dip in temperature to 58 degrees Fahrenheit. It will continue to cool down to around 50 degrees on Tuesday, Feb. 10. This decrease in temperature will bring with it a little rain, with Tuesday set to have a 39% chance of precipitation.

The rain is predicted to clear up on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Cedar City will likely experience sunny weather from then until Saturday, Feb. 14. Those with outdoor Valentine’s Day plans should dress warm however, as Saturday currently has a 16%  chance of precipitation. Temperatures during this three day period will drop into the high 40s, with a high of 49 degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday.

The clouds will return on Sunday, Feb. 15 where the temperature is expected to have a high of 43 degrees. There is currently a 51% chance of precipitation with a potential for snow.

Wind speeds will remain at around 10 mph throughout the week.

Despite the chilly weather, Cedar City offers a variety of indoor Valentine’s Day activities, including movies, bowling, comedy shows, live music and of course a large selection of hometown restaurants.
