Refreshments will be served, alongside live music. The social will take place in the Thorley Recital Hall starting at 7 p.m. and is free to attend.

SUU’s Dance program is collaborating with the SUU Dance Organization to bring students the Major for a Day event. Attendees will have the opportunity to step into a dance major’s shoes and see what their program entails from Jan. 12-16. At the end of the event, students will be assessed and placed into the appropriate level should they wish to take classes. Prior to participation, attendees must sign up for a day and fill out the liability waiver

Tuesday, Jan. 13:

SUMA is hosting its sidekick members from 4-6 p.m. for the monthly Sidekicks Assemble event. Participants will make collages inspired by Dada artists over refreshments and friendly conversation. All supplies are provided and admission is free.

Thursday, Jan. 15:

Rjourney RV Resort is hosting a free Bring Your Own Craft Day. Starting at 3 p.m., anyone is welcome to bring a project they’re working on and socialize with fellow creators over light refreshments. It’s an opportunity to find community, gain inspiration and learn helpful tips from seasoned crafters. The group will meet at 1121 N Main St.

The Utah Farm and Food Conference is coming to town, and in addition to the various vendors and lectures they’ll supply, they will also host a film screening. The event will show films such as “Land and Heart” and “Rooted in Community” which follow the stories of local farmers and the challenges they’ve faced along with their triumphs. Films will be shown in SUU’s Auditorium Theatre from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Cedar High is showcasing their performance of “Into the Woods” at 7 p.m in the Cedar High Auditorium (703 W 600 S). Performances run from Jan. 15-17 and tickets can be purchased here for $8 or at the door, $5 for students and $8 for adults.

They will perform their 22nd Birthday Bash improv show at 8 p.m. at 913 S Main St. Tickets are $10.50 and can be purchased on their website or at the door.
