Cedar City, Utah is making its way into the month of October, meaning that our weather forecast will be cooling down this next week. October is the month of colorful leaves, pumpkin patches and crisp mornings and evenings. As it shifts into this fall season, we can expect a decrease in temperatures.
Monday, Sept. 29 through Wednesday, Oct. 1, temperatures are forecasted to be in the high 60 and low 70 degree range. These highs will hit around 3 p.m. each day.
Thursday, Oct. 2 through the rest of the weekend will begin to warm up, with the highest temperatures reaching 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
This week will have partly cloudy conditions and a 60% humidity average. There is currently no forecasted rainfall or high winds.
After the first two weeks of October, the monthly average temperature will lower to the mid 60’s. This means fall activities and hot cocoa are coming to southern Utah.
Now would be a great time to check out some local pumpkin patches, farmers markets or hikes. Southern Utah also features some very beautiful drives to see the fall colors.
