Rodney Atkins coming to southern Utah at this year’s Trail Hero Music Festival

Southern Utah’s annual Trail Hero Music Festival will take place in Hurricane, Utah on Oct. 2-4. After 10 years, the music festival is changing its location to the Washington County Fairgrounds

The festival will feature three nights of country and rock music, starting at 6 p.m. each night. Headliners include Lakeview, Tim Montana and lastly, a big name in country music, Rodney Atkins

Tickets to the festival are free for veterans and reasonably priced for anyone else. General admission starts at about $25 each, but Trail Hero’s Instagram is giving out free tickets to Friday night’s show.

While the Thursday and Saturday night shows will not be free, Trail Hero also offers discount codes for tickets on their Instagram.

Even though the music will not start until later in the afternoon, the three-day event will have activities all day long. Campgrounds will be available for an additional charge, and guided ATV rides will take place each afternoon.

Grab your cowboy boots, because line dancing lessons, tailgate parties and more will also be available each day, included with the purchase of a festival ticket.

A free vendor show will be set up at the fairgrounds each day around 3 p.m., and this includes food trucks and even free Monster Energy samples for certain ticket holders.

Tickets can be purchased up until the day of the event. There are options for tickets to all three days, or single-day tickets. Being only a 40-minute drive from Cedar City, it could be an easy weekend getaway to enjoy a day of activities and live music.
