Southern Utah University’s local rodeo team will be competing in The Great American Stampede this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5-6, at the Cross Hollow Arena. The rodeo gates will open at 5 p.m., and the event will begin at 7 p.m.
Both nights will feature fun and extreme rodeo action for every fan.
“From rough stock to fast times, you’ll be on the edge of your seat cheering on some of the West’s best athletes,” said the event’s Ticket Leap webpage.
Delicious food and treats will be available to purchase throughout the night for additional rodeo enjoyment. From Dole Whip to local barbeque, there will be a wide variety of options for attendees to choose from.
SUU students are encouraged to support their Thunderbird Rodeo athletes on Friday night by wearing their best red. On Saturday, Ticket Leap asks that fans celebrate America and its western culture by sporting red, white and blue.
Rodeo tickets can be purchased at the gate or prior to the event. A student discount is applied to tickets purchased before the Friday night show, but prices will increase afterwards. It is recommended to purchase tickets beforehand through Ticket Leap.
For more information on the event and location, visit the Cross Hollow Arena website, and as Ticket Leap says: “Grab your tickets now and bring the whole family for a weekend of thrills, spills and rodeo chills!”
