Calling all future Hitchcocks, Kubricks, and Bigelows!
SUU is hosting the second annual Thunderbird Film Festival, featuring short films and music videos made by you!
Individuals may submit as many entries as they’d like, however, they must be under ten minutes long and submitted by April 15th at 11:59pm. The festival itself will be held in the Sharwan Smith Theater on April 26th, at 7 pm.
The event will include a screening of the entries, prizes for designated winners, and a guest filmmaker, who will speak about their experience in the industry, as well as answer questions from students. This event is designed to provide experience for fellow filmmakers to have their work shared and appreciated, hopefully proving that there is indeed a film scene here at SUU.
Not a director yourself? Come support friends and peers, and watch touching, fun, and meaningful art.
This year’s organizer, Sam Anderson, says, “I’m hoping that participants can enjoy viewing the work of their peers, and also find satisfaction in their own videos they have created”.
For those interested in presenting work, entries can be submitted at tbirdfilm.wordpress.com. Any questions regarding the event can be directed to Sam Anderson at samjamma@gmail.com.
