SUU News photographer, Mitchell Quartz visited some family members in Florida over the break. The sunshine state is home to dozens of species of plants, birds, fish and more. Many of these creatures can be found in select places in Utah, but Quartz has made it a habit to travel out of his way to see them up close and personal. With wildlife constantly surrounding him during spring break, he jumped at the opportunity to photograph everything he could.
Students who spent their spring break in the outdoors can send photos of their adventure to outdoors@suunews.net for a chance to be featured.
