Come one, come all to the SPB “Under the Big Top” Masquerade Dance, Friday, Jan. 11, from 8-11 p.m. in the Hunter Conference Great Hall.
Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the circus world. The decorations will play on the classic white and red stripes found on circus tents. Students can document their night at the circus by getting photos in the picture booth with a strong man and a trapeze artist.
Upon entering the event, students can dance the night away to the musical styling of Gavin Ellsworth, an SUU freshman studying marketing.
SPB will provide a variety of treats ranging from popcorn, brownies and lemonade, treats all typically found at a circus.
“The theme of this event is like nothing we have ever done,” said SPB Assistant Director Parker Nelson. “This is our baby, we started planning back in November. We want this event to be super fun and recognize how different it is from our other events.”
Students will need their SUU student ID card to enter the dance.
