Southern Utah University is pleased to announce country artist John Michael Montgomery in
concert on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
“We are excited to bring John Michael Montgomery to SUU and Cedar City for the first time,”
says Mindy Benson, vice president for alumni and community relations. “His music is loved by
many and I am confident concert goers in southern Utah will enjoy his show.”
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in SUU’s America First Event Center located at 152 S. 800 W.

John Michael Montgomery has turned an uncanny ability to relate to fans into one of country
music’s most storied careers. Behind the string of hit records, the roomful of awards and the
critical and fan accolades that have defined his phenomenal success lies a connection that goes
beyond his undeniable talent and his proven knack for picking hits. Since the days when “Life’s
A Dance” turned him from an unknown artist into a national star, John Michael’s rich baritone
