Brian Head Current Conditions

Thanks to a mid Feb. snow storm, conditions at Brian Head Resort have improved significantly ahead of Presidents Day weekend.

The storm dropped 14” of snow on the slopes over the past few days, increased the base depth to 32” and raised the season total to 74”. Although still significantly lower than the average 360” Brain Head normally receives, there is still enough snow on the mountain for skiing and snowboarding.

Current slope conditions are a mix of machine-groomed runs, fresh powder and wind-driven drifts. Several runs still have signs warning of early seasonal conditions advising people to be on the lookout for the occasional tree, rock or bush still pushing up through the snow.

According to brianhead.com, all lifts with the exception of chair 7 are now open.

The resort will have extended hours for the holiday weekend ( 9:30 am to 4:30 pm) as well as live music at the Last Chair Saloon with The StoryTellers and John’s KC Style BBQ on saturday.

For more information on conditions or ticket prices visit Brian Head Resorts website or call (435) 677-2035.
