With just seven regular season games left in the 2017-18 season, the Southern Utah women’s basketball team will be looking to sweep the season series with conference rival NAU this Saturday in the America First Event Center.

The Lady T-Birds are coming off losses to Weber State and Idaho State last week on the road.
Kiana Johnson had a career afternoon against the Wildcats on Thursday, as the sophomore finished with her first career double-double (20 pts, 10 reb). She was also the leading scorer in the loss to the Bengals, dropping in 10 points.
The Thunderbirds continue to lead the Big Sky in turnover margin with a +2.41 average. They are also second in the conference in steals per game, averaging 10.7.
Scouting Report: Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (4-18, 1-10 BSC)
The Lumberjacks come into Cedar City on an eight-game losing streak. They won their only Big Sky Conference game on January 4 at home over the Weber State Wildcats. As a team, the lumberjacks lead the Big Sky in rebounding, averaging 41.4 rebounds per game. Kenna McDavis is the leading rebounder for NAU, averaging 8.9 rebounds per game.
McDavis is also second on the team in scoring with an average of 15.3 points per game, just behind Olivia Lucero who averages 15.9 points per game.
The Thunderbirds traveled to Flagstaff back on January 13 and were able to come away with a 60-57 win. Rebecca Cardenas had 20 points, seven rebounds, and five steals in the win over the Lumberjacks.
