SUU to Face UNLV In Vegas

SUU men’s basketball (2-2) will face UNLV (4-0) on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. MT in the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV won last year in Cedar City 89-81.

SUU is set to play their third game against a Mountain West Conference opponent this season on Saturday. The previous two were a road loss to Boise State and a home win versus San Jose State. The win over SJSU marked SUU’s first against an MWC opponent since the 2006 season.

The Thunderbirds’ two wins have come at home over SJSU and Benedictine Mesa. The losses were on the road at Oregon State and Boise State. Junior guard, Jadon Cohee, leads SUU with 17 points per game.

UNLV has not played a game outside of Las Vegas yet. They’ve beaten Florida A&M, Prairie View A&M, Eastern Washington and Rice. The seven-foot tall, freshman forward Brandon McCoy leads the Runnin’ Rebels with 20 points per game.

The game will be streamed on Facebook Live and can be listened to on KSUB 590 AM.
