The Big Sky Conference released the 2017-18 Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Poll and Media Poll on Friday. The Southern Utah Lady T-Birds were picked to finish in 12th place in both polls.
Northern Colorado was picked to win the conference in both polls with North Dakota finishing right behind them.
Southern Utah has added seven new players to their roster this season including Jessica Chatman, a transfer from BYU. Ashley Baugh and Megan Kamps will be returning to the team after redshirting just a season ago.
The Lady T-Birds will host exhibitions against Northern New Mexico College and Concordia University on October 30 and November 3 before opening the 2017-18 on the road at BYU on November 10.
The Thunderbirds will open Big Sky play on December 28 at Montana State.
