Weber State at Montana State: Freshman kicker Trey Tuttle made four perfectly placed field goals to lead Weber State to a 25-17 victory against Montana State. Senior quarterback Stefan Cantwell efficiently completed 20 of 30 passes for 206 yards and no interceptions for WSU.
Cal Poly at Idaho State: Junior quarterback Tanner Gueller threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns in Idaho State’s 38-34 win over Cal Poly. Cal Poly held a 10 point fourth-quarter lead before ISU scored two touchdowns in the last 11 minutes of the game to complete the comeback.
Sacramento State at Eastern Washington: Eastern Washington’s junior quarterback Gage Gubrud totaled six touchdowns and 447 passing yards in their 52-31 win over Sacramento State. The teams combined for 1201 yards and 53 first downs in the shootout.
Montana at Portland State: Montana’s junior running back Jeremy Calhoun rushed for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the team’s 45-33 win against Portland State. Senior safety Justin Strong recorded three interceptions for Montana, including a 64 yard pick-six.
Northern Colorado at Northern Arizona: Northern Arizona jumped out to a 20-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in their 48-20 win over Northern Colorado. Sophomore quarterback Case Cookus led NAU with 271 passing yards and three touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Elijah Marks also racked up seven catches for 106 yards and a touchdown.
North Dakota at UC Davis: Sophomore quarterback Jake Maier led UC Davis to a 48-24 win against North Dakota by completing 33 of 38 passes for 415 yards and four touchdowns. Junior wide receiver Keelan Doss had 11 receptions for 199 yards and a touchdown in the win.
