Cedar City may be a quaint town, but it is full of local food spots that keep people returning for more. Whether you’re in the mood for a coffee, brunch or dinner with friends, these local restaurants have stolen the hearts of Southern Utah University’s hometown. Southern Utah University News is a student-run news organization that covers events and information on and around campus. We have a team of reporters and editors who write articles for our website daily and also contribute to our print edition, the University Journal. However, in order to best represent the student body, we want to hear from you. The first Woodshed Music Festival held on Oct. 10 and 11 was a smashing success. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the nonprofit organization Power in Pink-Iron County held its annual run/walk on Saturday, Oct. 4, to raise funds for breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Cedar City Cancer Center.
