The hottest local bands clash in Thunder 91’s annual Battle of the Bands in an electric night of live music, killer crowd energy, and local talent competing for the judges choice and audience choice prizes.

This year

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. on Upper Quad, SUU student bands competed for prizes and publicity in the “Battle of the Bands: Thunderground” competition.

The competition was hosted by and broadcasted on Thunder 91.1 KSUU-FM with a live video stream on SUTVLive.
