The campaigning period for the 2026-2027 Southern Utah University Student Association elections opened this morning. Those running for student body president, elected executive council positions and senate positions will promote their platforms throughout the next two weeks.
Student body president and vice president
The student body president and their selected running mate serve as official representatives of the student body. Here are the candidates:

— Ryker Moss and Austin Isom
Executive Council
The executive council consists of SUUSA President and supporting vice president roles. Some positions are appointed and others are publicly elected. Here are the elected VP candidates:

SUUSA Clubs and Organizations Vice President

Student Senate
Each college has a student representative that serves on the student senate. Here are the candidates for each college:

Students can meet with candidates on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the Pizza and Platforms event. The primary election will open that day and close on Friday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. The general election will begin the following week on Wednesday, March 4. Voting officially closes Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m.
