Brian Head Resort reschedules opening day

Brian Head Resort has delayed their opening date, which was originally scheduled for Nov. 7, due to warm temperatures and lack of snowfall. The resort will now open for the 2025-2026 season on Friday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Despite the date change, Brian Head is still looking forward to celebrating their 60th season with local skiers.

“Winter is calling! Mark your calendars for the scheduled opening day on Friday, Nov.14th, and join us to kick off another unforgettable season at Brian Head Resort,” said the Brian Head website. “We’ll have a celebratory atmosphere with special events, prize giveaways and pristine runs waiting for you.”

Those looking to travel to Brian Head for opening day can expect calm road conditions and temperatures around 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

“Please be aware of the weather and road conditions. Refer to the UDOT website for updates including conditions, weather alerts, live webcams, plow status, traffic and more,” Brian Head advised.

Updates on opening day and events at the resort can be found on the Brian Head website.
