Zion National Park is not merely a pretty sight to see, but an epitome that portrays texture, warmth in color and rigid movement. Although many look past the beauty of Zion, we must stop and look at the small details that make Zion what it is today.
My father has had the privilege of working in this beautiful national park for the past 11 years, and he delivers orders to local shops in town. These local shops are unique and showcase much of their inventory from the outside of the shops to attract visitors. This way, the visitors at the park can see why Zion is special to many.
Zion National Park is not only a widely known national park from across the world, but it is home to many endangered species. These species include the Mexican Spotted Owl, the California Condor, the Southwestern Willow Flycatcher and a small population of Mojave Desert tortoises.
Zion National Park is one of the most popular national parks receiving over 4 million visitors annually. This park is home to over 100 miles of hiking trails with Angels Landing being one of the most popular trials. This trail is also one of the most dangerous hikes in the park and has led outdoor publications to listing it as one of the most dangerous hikes in the world.
Zion National Park holds a reputation for its beauty, unique sandstone and marvelous hiking trails. Many take for granted the wonders around them daily.
Take time to stop and ¨smell the roses,¨ and to appreciate the colors, plants and scenery around you. Do not take for granted beautiful places such as Zion National Park if you have the chance to visit often.
