Southern Utah University Outdoors hosts a weekly educational series about activities that students can participate in. This week’s series will be hosted by John Lisonbee, Chet Dalton and Jason Burton. The hosts will provide basic information about fly fishing and how students and audience members can partake.
Lisonbee is a staff board member who also enjoys the outdoor opportunities surrounding SUU. Another host, Dalton, is a member of SUU’s data council. However, Dalton provides videos and pictures of his catches on his Instagram page called @flyhackle. On his Instagram page, followers can see his equipment to catch different fishes. Last is Outdoor Recreation in Parks and Tourism professor Jason Burton.
All three hosts have an excellent background in outdoor recreation and provide valuable information to those interested in fly fishing. The event will be Thursday, Jan. 16, at 6 p.m. in room 120 of the physical education building.
For more information about the event, visit the SUU Outdoors online calendar or Basecamp in the Sharwan Smith Student Center, next to Chick-fil-A.
