It has been a great start for the Southern Utah University men’s basketball team as they start the year 2-0. They will look to stay unbeaten when they host Bethesda University of California on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 6:30 p.m., followed by the University of Nebraska at Omaha on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m.
Both games can be streamed on ESPN+.

Omaha enters this week 2-1 on the season with a loss to the University of Minnesota 68-64. The Mavericks, a part of the Summit League, finished last season 15-18 overall and 7-9 in conference play.
Senior forward Marquel Sutton leads the team, averaging 14 points and seven rebounds. Junior guard Lance Waddles leads the team with eight assists on the year. The one concern is the turnovers. Omaha averages 12.3 turnovers per game, including 16 turnovers in their loss to Minnesota.
