This coming Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19 and Oct. 20, are Southern Utah University’s fall break. Due to this long weekend, many students will be traveling outside of Cedar City.
Because temperatures are remaining in the 50s and 60s, roads are expected to be dry, but there is construction all along north Interstate 15 and in between St. George and Cedar City.
Students are advised to stay up to date with weather and road conditions throughout the long weekend due to potential freeze warnings in the northern part of the state.
For more information on road conditions or closures, visit the Utah Department of Transportation website.
