Fall season has arrived in Cedar City with the opening of Robinson Family Pumpkin Patch. Located at 1680 W Industrial Rd, the farm opens Sept. 26 and will close when its pumpkins are sold out.
It is open 3 p.m. to sunset Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to sunset on Saturdays. General entry is $2 per person. Guests may select pumpkins priced by weight and take part in seasonal farm activities.
Free activities include hay rides and a petting zoo. Extra‑cost activities are pumpkin launching, corn pit, hay maze, animal feeding and horse rides.
These individual add-ons have separate pricing. Horse rides cost $5, the pumpkin maze and corn pit each cost $3, and animal feed is available for $2.
The patch holds a 98% recommendation rating across online reviews.
“We had a great time; they were all very kind, and it was clean for what it was. The animals were also mild-tempered and sweet,” one visitor wrote in an online review. “My daughter had a blast, and we will continue to come every October.”
This local family‑run farm creates a casual fall outing suitable for SUU students, families and friend groups. Visitors are advised that rain can leave farm grounds muddy. For more details before planning a trip, guests can call (435)‑691‑5014.
