Cedar City’s concert lineup 3/3-3/7/26

Southern Utah is home to a lively local music scene. Here are some opportunities to get involved in it this week.

Tuesday, March 3

The Johnson Arts Center at 59 N. 100 W. will present its weekly SokHop performance. This week’s performers will be P.J. Howa of SEIZER and Dopamine Crash. Community members can gather to hear grunge rock and cowboy alternative music for $5 starting at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 5

The Bop-Cats will perform their weekly live jazz show in the Sharwan Smith Student Center Living Room starting at noon. Catch them between classes or jam out during your lunch break to standard classics and new tunes.

Friday, March 6 

Elaina McEntee will be performing her senior horn recital starting at 7 p.m. in the Thorley Recital Hall. The performance is open to the public and free to attend.

Saturday, March 7

Kobi Brittenham will be performing his senior trumpet recital starting at 3 p.m. in the Thorley Recital Hall. The performance is open to the public and free to attend.

This concert will be followed by Katie Alexander performing her senior violin recital at 5 p.m.

Additionally, Kail Limb and Landon Fowles will present their senior trumpet recitals at 7 p.m., also in the Thorley Recital Hall. 

The Willow Glen Resort at 3308 N. Bulldog Road will host various artists for their weekly open mic night. The Roadhouse Wranglers will kick the evening off with a performance at 7 p.m., after which anyone is welcome to get up on stage and share their talents.
