The Cedar City Food Truck Court had its grand opening on Wednesday, Jan. 21, bringing with it food, games and booths. This will be a recurring event that will take place every Wednesday from 11 a.m to 7 p.m.
This event will take place at Market Square on Main Street, offering vendors and food trucks a place to sell items and food to community members.
For its grand opening, food trucks served barbeque, burgers, sandwiches, Hawaiian and Mexican food. Fire pits, games and booths selling jewelry and other crafts were also available
Heather Carter, owner of the Festival City Farmer’s Market and manager of the Cedar City Food Truck Court, detailed her wishes for the event’s future.
She hopes to diversify the booths and vendors, bringing in a wider variety of food options and activities, and eventually making the Cedar City Food Truck Court a permanent fixture of Cedar City.
