“We love it here, and are grateful for this opportunity to hopefully earn your vote,” said mayoral candidate Steve Nelson.
The primary election took place on Aug. 12 and the general election will occur on Nov. 4. Ballots were mailed to registered voters on Oct. 14. In-person early voting is available on Oct 31 at the Iron County Courthouse, located at 68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah. Voting hours will be from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Drop boxes are located around Cedar City, including on campus in the rotunda of the student center. The drop boxes are open 24 hours and will close at 8 p.m. on election day. The Cedar City in-person voting center is located at Festival Hall, 96 N Main Street, and will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day.
