The Southern Utah University women’s golf team placed ninth out of 13 teams, scoring +68 over par in the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George.
Tanyatorn (Excel) Thalangkarn had a six-stroke lead entering the final day but couldn’t hold on and finished solo third.

— Ellie Olsen finished in 76th place at +36.
Southern Utah will next compete in the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Arizona. The tournament will begin on Saturday, March 16, and end Sunday, March 17.
